NoMa Summer Screen is a free, weekly, outdoor film series, featuring local BBQ and music by Fatback. The movies play behind the Loree Grand on the 200 blk of L St NE, which is a quick walk from most places on H Street and easily accessible from the NY Ave metro. This year’s theme is The Future is Now, films that grapple with the future or the element of time. Bring a blanket, lawn chair, Frisbee, cooler, and take out from your favorite H Street restaurant (Ethiopic is close, but Sticky Rice and Liberty Tree are also good options) and enjoy great films under the stars. Subtitles provided.
