Link roundup

DC Urbanturf noted two of the best new houses for sale in DC are just south of H Street on 10th and 11th Street. Both houses are gorgeous and available for a just over $500,000, so they wont last long.

Washington Business Journal reported that a Giant will be the anchor grocery store at the Steuart Investment development project slated to open a couple hundred condos above retail on the north side of the 300 block of H Street.

The Hill is Home held the first DC Blogger Skeeball Tournament at the H Street Country Club. HStreetGreatStreet was unable to attend this one, so the win went to the Fort Totten Team.

Lots of folks checked out the soft opening of the Star and the Shamrock (1341 H St), including yours truly, the City Paper, DCist, THIH, Prince of Petworth, Frozen Tropics, and Capital Spice.
The Star and the Shamrock will be opens for lunch starting today, April 27.

HStreetDC Twitter noted that the former R.L. Christian Library at the corner of 13th & H Street will be refitted for use by Affinity Labs who rents desks to startup small businesses. A number of others had their eye on this site as well.

Frozen Tropics noted the latest license application for a new restaurant on H Street from Khan's BBQ, which is slated to open at the southwest corner of 12th & H St (1125 H St). Look for more details on that here soon.
