H Street Farmer's Market (625 H St) reopens May 1

The H Street Farmers' Market (625 H St), which is run by FreshFarm (who also runs the Dupont Circle, Penn Quarter and White House markets) will reopen May 1.

The H Street Farmers' Market was recently rated one of the top five markets in DC. It is open from 9 am until 12 noon every Saturday.

  1. Just want to let you know that Casey Taylor, of Taylor's Gourmet, is doing a Chef at Market cooking demo for opening day, starting at 10 am! This year the market will also have two new producers: Dangerously Delicious Pies (the name says it all) and Red Apron Butchery (cured meats, sausages, etc) the first Saturday of each month!

  2. Great news about DDP and Red Apron coming to the Market. Red Apron does great, great stuff and both will be welcome additions to our little market.

  3. Casey cooking at the Market on May 1, will be part of many activities planned for that day by H Street Main Street. Live music and more with the help of the Atlas and Joy of Motion.
    Plans are still developing.
The Atlas District restaurants and bars will jump in with some fun stuff too.
And remember that DDP and Taylor are open until 3:30 AM or so, Capital City Diner around the clock on weekends. So you can have fun on H Street all day, and as late as you can keep going!
