Link roundup

Girl Meets Food touts the Star and the Shamrock. Did you know they have a children's menu? They do. And it's half priced at lunch time Monday through Wednesday.

City Paper's Housing Complex Blog reports that Yes! Organic Market on the south side of Capitol Hill is looking for a new, larger location and that they are looking at H Street where they would be welcomed with open arms.

THIH highlights the Wylie Street cocktail at SOVA. SOVA's cocktails are as impressive as any on H Street and a number of them have neighborhood-themed names.

Mike Neibauer reports in the Washington Business Journal that CM Tommy Wells introduced a bill to allocate $5 million for H Street small business improvement and another $5 million for Guy Steuart's Development on the 300 block of H Street, which is slated to host a Giant grocery store and 212 residential units. The funds will come from a $25 million Tax Increment Financing (TIF) pot that the Council allocated a few years back, but which has not been used thus far. If passed, this bill should be a major step forward in moving this expected development ahead.
