Congratulations to H Street neighborhood residents Sam & Meseret from Ethiopic (401 H St) on being named one of Washington's Top 100 restaurants in the January Washingtonian. The Washingtonian devotes a full page to a beautiful picture of the vegetarian sampler (one of our favorites)and cheers Ethiopic for making a "concerted effort to her to its orgins." The piece recommends the vegetarian stews, doro way, buticha (spicy chick peas), and tibs, among other items.
Ethiopic is participating in next week's H Street Eats and offering 20% off the full menu all week, so be sure to drop by then (reservations recommended).
Ethiopic is open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner and Friday and Saturday for lunch.
