New restaurant coming to 414 H Street

We mentioned a few points of progress on the western end of H Street earlier this week, including our understanding that there would be a restaurant coming in across from Sidamo and we can now confirm that Boundary Road Restaurant -- a neighborhood restaurant serving "American fare" -- has applied for a liquor license to open at 414 H Street.

The establishment's proposed hours will allow it to operate for both lunch and dinner with capacity to seat 65, which suggests that it will likely occupy both the first and second levels of the building.  It has sought late night hours and an entertainment endorsement as well.

  1. Sweet! Thanks for the update.

  2. Excellent news. I live near that end and am excited to see a new dinner option coming.

  3. thrilled about this. i hear from credible sources that it indeed will be a great lunch/dinner option and VERY family friendly. Also focusing on local real foods and American cuisine. Can't wait!

  4. Exciting news! Very similar name and concept to Boundary Stone which is opening up in Bloomingdale later this Summer. Do they know of Boundary Stone, I wonder?

  5. How is this place coming along? Updates? Who's the chef? Will it focus on local sourcing as well?
