Your new ANC6A

ANC6A held its first meeting of 2011 with newly elected members Adam Healy (6A01) @adamchealy, Sharee Lawler (6A05) @SCLinDC, Andrew Hysell (6A06), and Lia Veenendaal-Selck (6A08). 

Returning Commissioner David Holmes was elected Chair, returning Commissioner Drew Ronneberg was elected Vice Chair, returning Commissioner Nick Alberti continues to serve as Treasurer, and Lia Veneenendaal-Selck was elected Secretary. 

The ANC elected to retain committee chairs for Economic Development and Zoning (Drew Ronneberg), Transportation and Public Space (Omar Mahmud), and Community Outreach (Elizabeth Nelson).  Adam Healy was chosen to lead the Alcohol Beverage Licensing Committee.

ANC6A holds its meetings the first Thursday of every month at the Miner Elementary School (601 15th St NE).  Its citizen-led committee meet on the third week of each month with the Community Outreach Committee meeting on Monday at 1235 C St NE, the Transporation Committee and the Alcohol Committee meeting Tuesday at 900 G St NE and the Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th St NE) respectively,  and the Economic Development and Zoning Committee meeting on Wednesday also at the Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th St NE).
