Weekend East City Event Round Up: Local Art Rules Edition

 

Friday, July 11

Honfleur and Vivid Solutions Galleries – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Honfleur and Vivid Solutions Galleries host opening receptions for The Seventh Annual East of the River Exhibition and The Invisible Wall: Photographs from East of the River. Honfleur’s exhibit features the work of nine artists who have a special connection to communities East of the River while at Vivid Solutions, Susana Raab’s photographs weave an East of the River community narrative. 39^th Street Gallery - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

CONNERSMITH. - 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

CONNERSMITH presents the opening of ACADEMY 2014. Dr. Jamie Smith, exhibition founder and curator, invited 17 artists from local MFA and BFA programs to the 14th annual exhibition.
