Tommy Wells kicking off official 2014 Mayoral campaign on H Street this Saturday, at noon at 15th St "Starburst intersection"

Tommy Wells is announcing his campaign for Mayor on H Street on Saturday afternoon, at 12 pm.  The announcement will occur on the plaza where H Street crosses 15th Street at the "Starburst intersection," which also includes Maryland Ave, Florida Ave, Benning Road, and Bladensburg Road.  The announcement will occur on the Starburst Plaza which is just across the border from Ward 6, which Wells has represented on the DC Council for the last several years.  


Tommy Wells to kick off Mayoral Campaign Saturday, May 18

At 12pm, Saturday, May 18, DC Councilmember Tommy Wells will be joined by family, friends, and supporters from across the city to officially kickoff his Mayoral Campaign. Tommy Wells has served the District of Columbia for over 20 years as a public official, social worker, and community leader. The Campaign Kickoff will be held at the Starburst Plaza, at the crossroads of Wards 5, 6 and 7.
