President & Mrs. Obama come to H Street for dinner at Boundary Road

The President & the First Lady brought a handful of supporters from around the country to H Street tonight and treated them to dinner at Boundary Road (414 H St).  They arrived around 5:30 and enjoyed a leisurely dinner at H Street's newest restaurant hotspot.  The restaurant was closed to the public during the event.  A few photos of the event are available online.

The First Lady came to H Street for dinner at Sticky Rice previously, but this was the President's first meal in the neighborhood.  By most accounts it was the first time any President came to H Street in decades.  If there's any question about whether H Street has made it as a Great Street, this should officially resolve that.

The guys at Boundary Road tell us they are already getting tons of reservation requests, so plan ahead if you want to try to have dinner where the First Family dined tonight.  Reservations are available through their website or at 202-450-3265.
