DC hosts Restaurant Week twice a year. The current promotion offers a three course dinners for $35.10 at various restaurants around town. This August, H Street is doing DC Restaurant Week one better and offering great meals at $20.10 as part of "H Street Eats."
Many of H Street's best restaurants will participate, including Liberty Tree, Granville Moore's, Ethiopic, H Street Country Club, Argonaut, Biergarten Haus, Dangerously Delicious Pies, Sticky Rice, Taylor Gourmet, and the Star and the Shamrock.
DDP will offer 2 slices of savory pie, 2 slices of sweet pie, and 2 drinks for $20.10. Other casual spots like Star and Shamrock will offer similar deals with food for two to ensure you get your money's worth, while some of H Street's sit down restaurants -- including Liberty Tree and Ethiopic -- will offer more traditional full three course menus. Either way, you'll be paying $20.10 and wont need to make reservations a month in advance, while the rest of DC is scouring Opentable for chances to pay $35.10 for limited three course menus.
Stay tuned for more details from CHAMPS (Capitol Hill Association of Merchants and Professionals) who are helping organize the event alongside Chef Teddy Folkman and HStreetDC's Margaret Holwill. Should be another great week on H Street!
