DC Craft Beer Week: August 22-28 -- a week of events on H Street

DC Craft Beer Week will occur August 22-28 and will highlight the growing craft beer scene in Washington. H Street having one of the strongest craft beer scenes in DC with several venues that feature them will naturally be one of the focal points for this year's event. The week will features events across the city with at least one featured beer special at an H Street establishment every night of the week.

On Friday, August 20, the Rock and Roll Hotel will host the DC Beer Week Kick-Off Event with craft beers and music pairings and featuring: Beer Director Greg Engert of ChurchKey, Founder & Brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal Ales, Tracy Jill Doty from the NIH, Cobra Collective, New Rock Church of Fire and many more.

Granville Moore's will host U.S. v. Belgium with Susan Greene on Monday, August 23rd. This event will be sold out soon, so call now if you hope to attend.

On Tuesday, August 24th, H Street Country Club hosts Butternut Pints for Putts – The shot of your life. 1 Beer. 1 Putt. 120 feet. Sink it and walk away with a regulation totally sick Pool Table! Star and Shamrock has He'brew Ales “Brisket & Brews” - Join Shmaltz Brewing Company and the Irish/Jewish cuisine of the Star and Shamrock along with tasty He'Brew ales for some creative pairings, and Liberty Tree presents Smuttynose New England Beer Dinner 4 Courses, 4 Beers $40/person.

On Wednesday, August 25th, the Red and the Black has a Troegs takeover. Glassware giveaway, Mad Elf in the Summer, Troegs Band, guaranteed fun.

On Thursday, August 26th, Biergarten Haus presents Reissdorf Kolsch Firkins Night With Bill Catron.
