Link roundup

Frozen Tropics has this nice note on what's happening on the Capital City Diner (1050 Bladensburg) noting thatt a back patio has been constructed and that there may also be a bar on the back patio available on weekends for events.

DCist has this complimentary, but constructive write up on Toki Underground (1234 H St).

The Washington Post says Liberty Tree's (1016 H St) buttermilk pancakes are among the few best in the greater DC area.

The front page of the Monday Washington Post had a piece on HR-57's move to 816 H Street with this great photo tour of the space.  The City Paper was there for the opening as well and describes the new venue as follows:
My wife once compared the atmosphere at 14th Street to "a thrift store with a bandstand"; I thought of it as a coffeehouse, a social hangout where the music was often ignored by the talkative patrons. By contrast, the new place was every inch a jazz club, where everything from the sound to the band's presence was stepped up from its predecessor.
Capitol Bop has a nice video of the new HR-57 space with some interviews of staff and performers.

A new Pho Restaurant appears to be coming to 1360 H Street.  Frozen Tropics has a short post on it and HStreetDC posted a photo of the sign for the business that popped up late last week.  This is across the street from SOVA.

The New Urban Network has this article noting a study showing the potential impact of the DC Streetcar system finding that it will increae property values, spur development and investment, create jobs, and generate substantial revenue.  Remember to save the date for the April 20 streetcar quarterly update meeting at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St).
