Join Casey Trees & Councilmember Charles Allen for a dinner & a conversation about a greener future

This should be a great event.  Casey Trees has already done a lot of great work in our community and provided trees for community plantings at numerous local schools and recreation centers.  Kudos to them and Councilmember Allen for putting this conversation together and for providing dinner too.

On May 21, Councilmember Charles Allen and Casey Trees are hosting a special event in Ward 6 to engage with residents about enhancing green spaces and expanding tree canopy across the ward and city.   This event is free and a complimentary dinner will be provided.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with Councilmember Allen and other city officials (DC Office of Planning’s Ward 6 Planner Melissa Bird will also be on the panel) to discuss a greener future for Ward 6.  At 17%, Ward 6 has the lowest canopy coverage in the city.  But residents are eager to enjoy the same advantages that our city’s trees and green space provide other District neighborhoods.
