Weekend East City Event Round Up: Women’s History Month Edition
Three concurrent exhibitions, all by female artists, open at Conner Contemporary and a new art space dedicated to silk screening will host an open house Saturday evening.

Conner Contemporary Art will show three concurrent exhibitions- “Paladins and Tourists,” featuring new drawings and video by Zoë Charlton; “Stress Cone,” a new sculptural installation by Mia Feuer; and the premier of “Ascension/Immersion,” a collaborative video project by Mary Coble and Blithe Riley. The opening begins at 6pm and ends at 8pm. Conner is located at 1358 Florida Avenue, NE.
Open Studio DC, a new art space at 1348 Florida Ave NE located right next door to Conner Contemporary and G Fine Art, will host an open house from 6pm to 10pm. Open Studio DC will serve primarily as a silk screening studio for artists. The open house will be an opportunity to view silk screening demonstrations. Light refreshments will be served.
