FRESHFARM Markets popping up at Union Market again today; FRESHFARM H Street Market open every Saturday 9-noon at 13th & H

FreshFarm Markets is doing another pop up at Union Market (1309 5th St NE) today. 10 am - 6 pm.

They’ll have apples, pears, apple cider, eggs, leeks, squash, tomatoes, chard, Tuscan kale, white and sweet patotos, onion, value-added stuff from Toigo Orchards.

FreshFarm Markets would like to do a permanent farm stand at Union Market (proceeds would go to help run the organization, which is nonprofit and farmer fees only cover 50 percent of expenses), so if you want to see that happen be sure to stop by and help show them that it can work.

 

FreshFarm operates the H Street Farmer's Market today and every Saturday, 9 am - noon at 1300 H Street.
