Link roundup

Boundary Road (414 H St) got a lot of attention with a 360 degree view of the space I Heart Food DC's postThrillist's preview revealing their awesome lighting and exposed brick, and this good description of their quality mid-range concept from the Washingtonian, which as a nice slideshow of their almost finished, already very attractive interior as well.

Impala (1358 H St) applied for their liquor license.  There opening will be one of the most exciting of the year.  The application doesn't reveal much other than that in addition to using the side patio between Impala and Gallery O on H, they hope to open a roof deck.

Washingtonian put their Best of H Street article online.  It's a nice overview of some of H Street's best spots.  It ran in the Best restaurants issue, which put Ethiopic and the Atlas Room in the top 100 restaurants in the metro area.  Ethiopic made the top 10 list for "On the Rise" while Atlas Room was one of the top 10 new spots.

TBD on Foot has this preview of DDOT's meeting for the Maryland Avenue Pedestrian Safety Improvements.  The meeting is this Saturday, 1-3 pm, at the Sherwood Recreation Center (640 10th St NE).  Want to see a more pedestrian friendly Maryland Avenue with less speeding and improvements to the dangerous intersections at 7th & 10th St, which currently lack stop lights?  Go to the meeting and let your voice be heard. 

Huffington Post picks up on saki on tap on Toki Underground.  We missed this, but apparently there's a saki tap and a series of saki cocktails available now. 

Living Social & Amazon have half off on the Intersections Festival, which comes to the Atlas Peforming Arts Center for a few weekends starting next month.

District Cuisine has this favorable early write up of new near H Street restaurant Zuppa Fresca.  This is the new spot in the Loree Grand at 3rd & K, which was previously slated for Kitchen on K from Chef Gillian Clark. 

Rock n Roll Hotel hosts the H Street Karaoke championship on Thursday night.
