Calling all volunteers! DC Public School Beautification Day will be held this year on Saturday, August
20, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This annual event was established in 2005 as a citywide “spruce up” of all DC public school buildings in preparation for the first day of school. Beautification efforts will
include gardening, trash pick-up, light painting, indoor cleaning, and other beautification efforts.
Join your neighbors, classmates, teachers and friends in helping to spruce up your local DCPS in preparation for the start of a new school year. Kids are welcome!
Sign up here to help beautify any of the area's schools including Peabody, Ludlow-Taylor, Stuart Hobson, Prospect Learning Center, Miner, Maury, J.O. Wilson or Eastern High.
