WHAT:            TEN 01, a new restaurant on trendy H Street NE, will hold its Grand Opening Celebration this Saturday, Nov. 21
 
                          The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the restaurant’s rooftop bar overlooking H Street. The day will feature all-day happy hour specials, including $2 off signature cocktails and draft craft beers, and $5 select wines.

Taste of H benefitting JO Wilson is this Sunday at the Atlas

 

 
The Friends of JO Wilson, invite you to attend their fourth year of fundraising, the Taste of H Auction, to benefit J.O. Wilson Elementary, a DC Public School. 
 
The Taste of H Auction is Sunday, November 8, from 6 to 10 pm at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St).  Tickets can be purchased online at www.tasteofh.org.
 
The Taste of H Auction continues this legacy of giving, friendship and support of a DCPS, thanks to the generosity of the local community and restaurants on H Street, NE. Admission includes tastings from 15 H Street restaurants, open bar, music, and live and silent auction. Funds raised pay for teacher trainings, schoolwide field trips, family emergency funds and have provided students with vital educational tools and technology.
 
Event tickets range from $45 (regular admission) to $75 (VIP admission).
 
Auction items include: Private Dinner for 15 at Sally’s Middle Name, Daily Rider bike, Weeklong beach stay, YMCA swimming lessons and much more! In addition to attendance, The Friends of JO Wilson also invite the public to support by becoming a sponsor, donating auction items and making direct donations.

Movember Pig Roast with Queen Vic's Ryan Gordon & DC Brau: Saturday, 11/14, 3 pm at at Little Miss Whiskeys

Movember will be hosting a Pig Roast at Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar (1104 H St) on Saturday, Movember 14 at 3pm


Chef Ryan Gordon of The Queen Vic will provide the food and the beer comes from DC Brau.  For $60 you are entitled to all you can eat and all you can drink and we will have a cash raffle the day of the event with hundreds of dollars in prizes from The Queen Vic, Kitty’s Saloon, Fuse Pilates, The Bar Method DC, and Right Proper Brewing Company.
