NoMa ZestFest starts today

ReadysetDC and the NoMa BID are producing on a three-week event series this October called ZESTFESTThey will be activating spaces, beautifying parks, opening a “pop-up art cafe”, throwing parties and placing art, music and dance on street corners – plus hosting a retro bike show and playing Beatles Rock Band on the Loree Grand Field on Friday Oct 22nd.  This event series is all about bringing the neighborhood to life by celebrating the beautiful outdoors in DC’s autumn season – and focusing on enlivening public spaces for use by residents and employees.

This kicked off today with free salsa classes.  The class will be held at: 1200 1st St - Behind NoMa BID Building from 11:30am - 1:30pm and 2nd and N St NE at the New York Ave Metro entrance by Au Bon Pan from 6-8pm.
