Taste of H benefitting JO Wilson is this Sunday at the Atlas

The Friends of JO Wilson, invite you to attend their fourth year of fundraising, the Taste of H Auction, to benefit J.O. Wilson Elementary, a DC Public School.

The Taste of H Auction is Sunday, November 8, from 6 to 10 pm at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St).  Tickets can be purchased online at www.tasteofh.org.

The Taste of H Auction continues this legacy of giving, friendship and support of a DCPS, thanks to the generosity of the local community and restaurants on H Street, NE. Admission includes tastings from 15 H Street restaurants, open bar, music, and live and silent auction. Funds raised pay for teacher trainings, schoolwide field trips, family emergency funds and have provided students with vital educational tools and technology.

Event tickets range from $45 (regular admission) to $75 (VIP admission).

Auction items include: Private Dinner for 15 at Sally’s Middle Name, Daily Rider bike, Weeklong beach stay, YMCA swimming lessons and much more! In addition to attendance, The Friends of JO Wilson also invite the public to support by becoming a sponsor, donating auction items and making direct donations.

Restaurants serving tastings are: Ben’s Chili Bowl, &Pizza, Smith Commons, The Queen Vic, Vendetta, Sticky Rice, Horace & Dickies, Addis Ethiopian Restaurant, Star & Shamrock, Boundary Road, Impala, DC Harvest, Indigo, SOL Mexicana, and Dangerously Delicious Pies!
Kudos to the neighborhood residents and businesses who work to support this and many other local schools.   You make H Street great.
