BACKGROUND
Since 2010, the DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) has been considering a project to make Maryland Avenue safer for pedestrians and cars, especially at the intersections of Maryland/7th/D and Maryland/10th.
DDOT identified the preferred design 2 ½ years ago, but it never implemented that design. It now is considering a new scaled-back plan. The community will learn about this scaled-back plan at the May 21 meeting.

i am convinced the intersection by the library is the most dangerous intersection in the city. glad to hear they plan to address it
